For a biography of Richard Wright
Donald Kizza-Brown is a postdoctoral fellow in the English Department at Brown University. He specializes in 20th-century Black American literature, and his essays on the way Black Southerners fought for the right to flourish in their region of birth even during the Great Migration have been published in Southern Cultures, Mississippi Quarterly, the Southern Historical Association, and various edited collections.
