Heather Clark

For a biography of Sylvia Plath

Heather Clark is a scholar and critic, and the author of The Ulster Renaissance: Poetry in Belfast 1962-1972, and The Grief of Influence: Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes, both published by Oxford University Press. She earned her doctorate in English from Oxford University, and has held fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the British Library. She is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing. As a Leon Levy fellow, she worked on Sylvia Plath: The Light of the Mind, published by Knopf.
