Samanth Subramanian

Samanth Subramanian is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. His reportage has appeared in the New Yorker, the New York Times, WIRED, Harper’s, and the Guardian, among other publications. His second book, This Divided Island: Stories from the Sri Lankan War(2014), won the 2015 Crossword Prize for Non Fiction and was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Non Fiction Prize and the Royal Society of Literature’s Ondaatje Prize the same year.
